Sec. 6505.

Access to records of the department and the department of state shall be in accordance with the freedom of information act, Act No. 442 of the Public Acts of 1976, being sections 15.231 to 15.246 of the Michigan Compiled Laws.

Requests for access to records shall be in writing and shall identify the specific record.

There shall be a reasonable charge for the reproduction and mailing of identifiable records.
