Mich. Comp. Laws § 324.6522: Fleet testing station; change of ownership; notice.

Sec. 6522.

If the ownership of a fleet testing station changes, a new permit is required, and the fleet testing station shall not operate until its application for a new permit is approved by the department. For purposes of this section, "change of ownership" means a change in the ownership of a station that is a sole proprietorship or a partnership; the replacement of a sole proprietorship with a partnership, a corporation, or another sole proprietorship; the replacement of a partnership with a sole proprietorship, a corporation, or another partnership; or the replacement of a corporation with a sole proprietorship, a partnership, or another corporation.

A corporation shall notify the department within 30 days of any change in ownership that involves the accumulation of 25% or more of the ownership by a person who did not previously own 25% or more of the corporation.
