Sec. 73106.

A prosecution under this part shall be in the name of the people of the state, shall be brought before a district court of competent jurisdiction in the county in which the offense was committed, and shall be brought within 1 year from the time the offense charged was committed.

A peace officer may seize property and otherwise enforce this part upon complaint of the landowner or his or her lessee or agent.
