Sec. 80132.

Sections 80134 and 80135 apply to a vessel operated on waters subject to the jurisdiction of this state when the vessel is either of the following:

Operated by its operator for recreational purposes.

Required to be numbered in this state.

This section does not apply to a vessel required to have a certificate of inspection under chapter I of title 46 of the Code of Federal Regulations.
