Sec. 702.

The receipt of mental health services, a determination that an individual meets the criteria of a person requiring treatment or for judicial admission, or any form of admission to a facility including by judicial order shall not be used to deprive an individual of his or her rights, benefits, or privileges.

The receipt of mental health services, a determination that an individual meets the criteria of a person requiring treatment or for judicial admission, or any form of admission to a facility including by judicial order does not constitute a determination or adjudication that the individual is incompetent as that term is used in other statutes.
