Mich. Comp. Laws § 333.5113: Medical treatment, testing, or examination as violative of personal religious beliefs; compliance with provisions regarding sanitation and reporting of diseases.

Sec. 5113.

Except as otherwise provided in part 52 and section 9123, this article and articles 6 and 9 or the rules promulgated under those articles shall not be construed to require the medical treatment, testing, or examination of an individual who objects on the grounds that the medical treatment, testing, or examination violates the personal religious beliefs of the individual or of the parent, guardian, or person in loco parentis of a minor.

This section does not exempt an individual from compliance with applicable laws, rules, or regulations regarding sanitation and the reporting of diseases as provided by this code.
