Mich. Comp. Laws § 333.5917: Risk reduction and AIDS education module; approval process.

Sec. 5917.

The department shall utilize the fund, in cooperation with the state board of education, to develop and distribute a risk reduction and AIDS education module appropriate for pupils in elementary and secondary.

The department shall make the risk reduction and AIDS education module available to each school district in the state.

In addition to developing a module as described in subsection (1), the department, in cooperation with the state board of education, may develop a process for approving a risk reduction and AIDS education module developed by a school district.
