Mich. Comp. Laws § 339.308: Promulgation of rules.

Sec. 308.

A board shall promulgate rules as required in the article in which it is created as are necessary and appropriate to fulfill its role.

A board may promulgate rules to set the minimal standards of acceptable practice for an occupation for which the board is created.
