Mich. Comp. Laws § 380.403a: Disapproval of ballot question; applicability of section to first class school district; election of board members.

Sec. 403a.

This section applies to a first class school district only if the question under section 410 is not approved in the first class school district.

Effective on the next January 1 occurring at least 1 year after the question under section 410 is presented to the school electors of the first class school district, the first class school district shall have a board composed of 4 members elected as provided in section 411a, plus 7 members elected, or appointed to fill a vacancy, as provided in section 412a.
