Mich. Comp. Laws § 388.1372: Superintendent of public instruction as “designated state official”; contracts generally.

Sec. 2.

The "designated state official" for this state shall be the superintendent of public instruction. He shall enter into contracts pursuant to article 3 of the agreement only with the approval of the state board of education.
