Sec. 210d.
(1) Community colleges shall work with public universities in this state to implement statewide reverse transfer agreements to increase the number of students that are awarded credentials of value upon completion of the necessary credits. These statewide agreements must enable students who have earned a significant number of credits at a community college and transferred to a baccalaureate-granting institution before completing a degree to transfer the credits earned at the baccalaureate institution back to the community college in order to be awarded a credential of value.
(2) Each community college receiving an appropriation under section 201 shall consult with the department of lifelong education, advancement, and potential at least once an academic year on the policies and services the institution implements regarding transfer credits and transfer students.
