Mich. Comp. Laws § 390.1302: State academic achievement scholarships; establishment; purpose; basis of award.

Sec. 2.

The Michigan higher education assistance authority, hereafter called the authority, shall establish state academic achievement scholarships to encourage academic excellence and to foster the pursuit of higher education and shall award those scholarships to students on the basis of scores on designated national examinations.
