Mich. Comp. Laws § 395.303: Duties of commission.

Sec. 3.

The department of labor through the commission shall do the following:

Stimulate and encourage formation throughout the state of local committees for concerns of handicappers.

Promote increased public and private interest and support for well-being of handicappers.

Secure appropriate recognition of handicappers' accomplishments and contributions to this state.
