Mich. Comp. Laws § 397.404: Effect of local act; continuation.

Sec. 4.

The relation of officers or agencies of any said city to the affairs of any said commission growing out of any special or local act of the state legislature shall continue in officers or agencies of any said city on revision or amendment of said special or local act by the electors of any said city.
