Mich. Comp. Laws § 399.74: Duties of advisory board.

Sec. 4.

The advisory board shall do all of the following:

Advise the department of history, arts, and libraries as to construction of, and policies, plans, and programs concerning the museum site.

Facilitate cooperation between the department of history, arts, and libraries and public and private entities interested in historic preservation at the museum site.

Encourage donations of real and personal property to the department of history, arts, and libraries for purposes incidental to, or connected with, the museum site, including artifacts associated with the museum site.

Promote public use of the museum site.
