Sec. 515.
The commission may issue in a county with a population of 1,000,000 or more, without regard to the quota provisions of section 531, a class C license for a golf course that is owned by a county, city, village, or township and is open to the public.
The commission may issue in a county with a population of between 500,000 and 700,000, without regard to the quota provisions of section 531, 1 tavern license for a golf course that is owned by a city with a population of over 190,000 but under 300,000 and is open to the public.
The commission shall not transfer a license issued under this section to another location. If a licensee who receives a license under this section goes out of business, the license issued under this section shall be surrendered to the commission.
