Mich. Comp. Laws § 765.31: Proceeding to enforce recognizance; venue; service of process.

Sec. 31.

Any proceeding to enforce a recognizance taken, as provided in this act, may be brought in the county where the offense is charged to have been committed, and service of process issued in any such proceeding may be made upon the principal or surety or both anywhere in the state, by any person authorized to serve process issued from a court of record.
