Minn. Stat. § 145.895: DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES.

The commissioner of human services shall cooperate with the commissioners of health and children, youth, and families in identifying eligible individuals. The commissioner of human services shall provide a procedure for the notification of pregnant or lactating women, infants and children receiving any form of public assistance of eligibility for benefits under this program.
