Subdivision 1. Rulemaking.

Rules developed by the Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Compact Commission under section 148.5185 are not subject to sections 14.05 to 14.389.

Subd. 2. Background studies.

The commissioner of health is authorized to require an audiologist or speech-language pathologist licensed in Minnesota as the home state to submit to a criminal history background check under section 144.0572.
