Minn. Stat. § 176.581: PAYMENT TO STATE EMPLOYEES.

Upon a request prepared by the commissioner of administration, and in accordance with the terms of the order awarding compensation, the commissioner of management and budget shall pay compensation to the employee or the employee's dependent. These payments shall be made from money appropriated for this purpose.
