Minn. Stat. § 383C.055: PENALTY.

Any person who willfully or through culpable negligence violates any of provisions of sections 383C.03 to 383C.056, or of the rules of the county civil service commission, shall be guilty of a gross misdemeanor. Conviction of same shall render the public office or position held by such person vacant.
