Mo. Rev. Stat. § 172.350: University police officers — appointment — employment.

The curators of the University of Missouri may appoint and employ as many university police officers as it may deem necessary to protect persons, property and to preserve peace and good order in the public buildings, properties, grounds and other facilities and locations over which it has charge or control.
