Violations of any regulation established under sections 172.743 to 172.750* shall have the same effect as a violation of municipal ordinances adopted pursuant to section 304.120 with penalty provisions as provided in section 304.570. Points assessed against any person pursuant to section 302.302 for a violation of sections 172.743 to 172.750* shall be the same as provided for a violation of a county or municipal ordinance.
