Mo. Rev. Stat. § 178.695: Program review.

1. Programs shall be subject to review and approval under standards developed by the department of elementary and secondary education consisting of early childhood education and parents as teachers programs and published as an administrative rule under the provisions of chapter 536.

2. The lieutenant governor shall act as an advisor to the department for all such programs reviewed by the department.
