Mo. Rev. Stat. § 205.920: May be deputized by inspection section as agent — powers, authority (third and fourth class counties).

The county superintendent of public welfare and his assistants may be deputized by the director of the inspection section of the department of labor and industrial relations, as his agent or agents, and when they are so deputized by the director, they shall have the same powers and authority as deputy industrial inspectors.
