Mo. Rev. Stat. § 217.210: Capacity of correctional centers, how determined — emergency assignment.

1. The maximum capacity of correctional centers shall be determined by the director of the department.

2. When any correctional center is at the maximum capacity, an offender may be assigned to that correctional center only when an emergency is declared by the director of the department.
