Mo. Rev. Stat. § 219.071: Children to be segregated from criminals.

No child committed to the division and awaiting transfer to the custody of the division or who has been detained in accordance with subsection 5 of section 219.026 shall be transported or detained in association with criminals or vicious and dissolute persons.
