Mo. Rev. Stat. § 227.348: Trooper Mike L. Newton Memorial Bridge designated for Interstate 44 bridge located in Phelps County.

The bridge on eastbound and westbound Interstate 44 crossing the Little Piney Creek in Phelps County shall be designated the "Trooper Mike L. Newton Memorial Bridge". The department of transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs commemorating such bridge, with costs to be paid for by the Missouri State Troopers' Association.
