Mo. Rev. Stat. § 227.857: Deputy Marshal David Thurman memorial highway designated for a portion of I-49 in McDonald County.

The portion of Interstate 49 from U.S. Highway 71 continuing south to the Arkansas/Missouri state line in McDonald County shall be designated the "Deputy Marshal David Thurman Memorial Highway". The department of transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs designating such highway, with the costs to be paid by the department of transportation.
