Mo. Rev. Stat. § 231.180: Overseer — bond.

Before entering upon the performance of his duties each road overseer shall execute and deliver to the township board a bond in such sum as may be fixed by the board, and with good and sufficient security, to be approved by the board, conditioned that he will faithfully discharge all the duties devolving upon him by law as such overseer.
