Mo. Rev. Stat. § 237.050: Bond required.

Before the delivery of the license such person shall give bond to the state, with sufficient security, approved by such clerk, in such sum as the commission shall order, conditioned for the faithful performance of the duties required by law at such ferry; which bond shall be filed in the office of such clerk.
