Mo. Rev. Stat. § 259.030: Council officers.

1. The council shall elect a chairman and vice chairman from the members of the council. A chairman and vice chairman may serve more than a one-year term, if so elected by the members of the council.

2. The state geologist shall act as administrator for the council and shall be responsible for enforcing the provisions of this chapter.
