Mo. Rev. Stat. § 324.1103: Duties of division.

For the purposes of sections 324.1100 to 324.1148 and sections 324.2100 to 324.2187, the division shall:

(1) Employ board personnel, within the limits of the appropriations for that purpose as established in sections 324.1100 to 324.1148 and sections 324.2100 to 324.2187;

(2) Exercise all administrative functions;

(3) Deposit all fees collected under sections 324.1100 to 324.1148 and sections 324.2100 to 324.2187 by transmitting such funds to the department of revenue for deposit in the state treasury to the credit of the board of private investigators, private fire investigators, and professional surety bail bond agents fund.
