Mo. Rev. Stat. § 324.736: Local ordinances complied with, moves on municipal streets.

All moves on streets on the municipal system of streets shall comply with local ordinances. The officer in charge of the maintenance of streets of any municipality may issue permits for the use of the streets by housemovers within the limits of such municipalities.
