- Chapter 327 - Architects, Engineers, Land Surveyors, Landscape Architects and Interior Designers
1. At such time as the final trial proceedings are concluded whereby a licensee, or any person who has failed to renew or has surrendered his or her certificate of licensure or authority, has been finally adjudicated and found guilty, or has entered a plea of guilty or nolo contendere, in a criminal prosecution pursuant to the laws of any state, of the United States, or of any country for any offense directly related to the duties and responsibilities of the occupation, as set forth in section 324.012, regardless of whether or not sentence is imposed, the board for architects, professional engineers, professional land surveyors, professional landscape architects, and licensed interior designers may hold a disciplinary hearing to singly or in combination censure or place the licensee named in the complaint on probation on such terms and conditions as the board deems appropriate for a period not to exceed five years, or may suspend, for a period not to exceed three years, or revoke the license or certificate.
2. Anyone who has been revoked or denied a license or certificate to practice in another state may automatically be denied a license or certificate to practice in this state. However, the board for architects, professional engineers, professional land surveyors, professional landscape architects, and licensed interior designers may establish other qualifications by which a person may ultimately be qualified and licensed to practice in Missouri.
