Mo. Rev. Stat. § 33.340: Defaced bonds to be surrendered to board of fund commissioners before renewed.

Before such bond or bonds or coupons shall be renewed it shall be the duty of such owner or owners to surrender to the board of fund commissioners such mutilated or defaced bonds or coupons, accompanied by an application for such renewal, setting forth the number, date, amount and object of issue of such bonds or coupons.
