Mo. Rev. Stat. § 375.106: Insurance producers, limitations on negotiated contracts.

Insurance producers acting on behalf of an applicant for insurance or insured shall negotiate contracts of insurance only with authorized domestic insurance companies, licensed insurance * producers, foreign insurance companies duly admitted to do business in this state, or with a duly licensed surplus lines broker.
