Mo. Rev. Stat. § 40.312: Escape by neglect or improper release of prisoners — court-martial.

Any person subject to sections 40.005 to 40.490 who, without proper authority, releases any prisoner committed to his charge, or who through neglect or design suffers any such prisoner to escape, shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.
