Mo. Rev. Stat. § 40.495: Severability of sections.

Sections 40.005 to 40.490 and every part thereof are hereby declared to be independent sections or part of a section, and if any section, subsection, sentence, clause, or phrase of sections 40.005 to 40.490 shall for any reason be held unconstitutional, the validity of the remaining sections, subsections, sentences, clauses, or phrases shall not be affected thereby.
