Mo. Rev. Stat. § 43.403: Responsibilities of other agencies.

The director of the department of social services, the director of the department of mental health, school districts, and juvenile courts, shall establish appropriate procedures to ensure that all possible instances of missing children are reported to the appropriate law enforcement agency or the highway patrol as required by sections 43.400 to 43.409.
