Mo. Rev. Stat. § 47.130: Purchase money, how paid.

If the land or any part thereof was purchased, the county commission shall make an order that the consideration money be paid out of the first proceeds of the sale of the lots to be laid out on such lands, and the clerk shall grant to the vendor a certificate accordingly.
