Mo. Rev. Stat. § 476.150: Contempt not to be used to enforce civil rights.

Nothing contained in sections 476.110 to 476.140 shall be construed to extend to any proceeding against parties or officers, as for contempt, for the purpose of enforcing any civil right or remedy.
