Mo. Rev. Stat. § 55.305: Audit of county investment programs required (second class counties).

In addition to all other duties imposed upon the county auditor in all counties of the second class, he shall audit all investment programs of the county and shall audit all special road districts within the county, and shall, upon completion thereof, report the findings of such audits to the county commission and state auditor.
