Mo. Rev. Stat. § 57.510: Office and supplies furnished.

The City of St. Louis, through its comptroller, shall provide suitable offices and furnishings for the sheriff of the City of St. Louis, and through its supply commissioner shall purchase all necessary supplies for said sheriff. All such supplies shall be furnished upon requisition of the sheriff of the city of St. Louis, which shall be approved by the comptroller.
