Mo. Rev. Stat. § 701.047: City or county may adopt more restrictive standards.

Nothing in sections 701.025 to 701.059 shall be construed so as to prohibit any city or county from adopting minimum standards which are more restrictive than the standards adopted by the state pursuant to sections 701.025 to 701.059.
