Mo. Rev. Stat. § 9.353: Black History Month designated for month of February.

The month of February is hereby designated as "Black History Month" in Missouri. The citizens of this state are encouraged to participate in appropriate events and activities to honor the struggles and triumphs of Black Americans throughout the history of the United States.
