Mo. Rev. Stat. § 96.270: Money deposited with treasurer, who shall give bond.

All moneys received or appropriated for the use of said board shall be deposited with the treasurer, who shall give good and sufficient bond to said board for the safekeeping and proper expenditure of all funds placed in his hands, by or for the use of said board.
