(1) There is created in the State Treasury a special fund, separate and apart from any other fund, to be designated the “Work Force Carryover Fund,” into which shall be deposited any funds which were appropriated by the Legislature to the work force program of the State Board for Community and Junior Colleges’ budget for Fiscal Year 1995 and thereafter which said funds were allocated but unexpended for the purposes set forth in the Work Force and Education Act of 1994 in Sections 37-151-63 through 37-151-75 and 37-153-1 through 37-153-13 .

(2) Unexpended amounts remaining in the trust fund at the end of a fiscal year shall not lapse into the State General Fund, and all interest earned on amounts in this special fund shall be deposited to the credit of the trust fund.
