Miss. Code Ann. § 65-3-71.335: Miss. Code Ann. § 65-3-71.335

(1) The segment of Mississippi Highway 35 located in Smith County, Mississippi, beginning fifteen hundredths (.15) of a mile north of its intersection with Cottonwood Drive and extending southerly to a point one-half ( 1 / 2 ) mile south of its intersection with Cottonwood Drive, is designated and shall be known as the “Senator Billy H. Thames Memorial Highway.”

(2) The Mississippi Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs along and approaching the segment of highway described in subsection (1) of this section.
