Miss. Code Ann. § 67-1-15: Miss. Code Ann. § 67-1-15

In any county having two judicial districts, each such judicial district shall be construed to be a political subdivision or subdivision of government on the same basis as a county, and as such, a judicial district will be entitled to all of the rights, privileges, and immunities as a county for the purposes of authorizing the sale of intoxicating liquor therein under the provisions of this article.
